Mark Howell - Owner, HMR Consulting

Mark Howell is a partner and founder of HMR Consulting, a marketing research and analysis firm with a wide variety of businesses and industry  experience.  He  is a seasoned marketing research professional and business consultant with over 22 years of marketing research, product development and consulting experience. 

As a research consultant, Mark has served variety of industries including information technology, education, religion, media, law, insurance, agriculture, non-profit, investments, financial services, retail, consumer goods, government, transportation, health care, law enforcement, manufacturing and home improvement.

Mark has designed and managed over 350 quantitative studies, and his qualitative research experience includes over 3,500 engagements including in-depth interviews, focus groups and virtual groups. Having moderated sessions with a wide variety of professionals, Mark has developed an engaging style of conducting interviews and focus groups that is highly adaptive to the group dynamics and effective at generating honest, forthright feedback.  In every engagement he is seeking to surface critical information and viewpoints that enable organizations to truly understand all the different perspectives that are relevant to the issue being researched.

He is a Certified Master Moderator, has a Master of Business Administration with focus in Marketing and Strategy from the Carlson School of Management and undergraduate degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
